The Scream Haunted Adventure did not sustain damage from the nearby fire in the early hours of Thursday, October 27, 2016. The fire was in an attached building but did not spread to the haunt area. The haunt did have minor smoke and soot infiltration which will be remediated prior to the haunted house opening on Friday and Saturday, October 28 & 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
“The Scream Haunted Adventure prides itself on fire safety,” states Producer/Director, Lori Sturgill. “Every year prior to opening we spray fire retardant on every surface of the haunted house, place smoke detectors and fire extinguishers throughout the maze, and are inspected by the Fire Marshall.”
